SUNDAY FUSION begins at 5pm
Not ready to come indoors? Join us for OUTDOOR WORSHIP!!!
Sunday Fusion is something new: A fusion of worship and faith formation for all ages! Think informal, intergenerational, worshipful, educational, inspiring, and outside! Our time together includes a worshipful gathering, scripture, storytelling, small group conversation, hands on activities, prayer, and communion. This new worship and education time is ideal for those who aren't ready to come inside for worship, families with children, youth, young adults, and anyone else. Masks are requested and social distancing will be followed.
Sundays from 5pm - 6pm in the church parking lot!
Just look for the tents!
Please note: We are not able to provide a meal at this time.
Check facebook page and website for weather cancellations.
Hey friends! As we prepare for the coming weeks of Sunday Fusion, we could use some help with a few things...
1) We would love to borrow several card tables to help set up activities outside. They can be returned once we can no longer meet outside.
2) We would love to have some additional volunteers for the "Tent Team." Tent set-up can happen after morning worship or at 4pm. Take down is dependent on weather - we had to leave them up yesterday to dry. Note: You can help with tents even if you aren't staying for Fusion!
Please let us know how you can help support this exciting new worship and education ministry!
A Word About Children

Children are always welcome in worship at Hawley UMC! We love to worship as an intergenerational congregation, and we encourage children to participate in the worship service. Lap desks with crayons, notebook, pencil, and markers are always available at the back of the sanctuary. In addition, children at the 10am service are usually given a hands on, quiet activity related to the sermon.
Please return lap desks and supplies to the baskets by the door as you leave so we can prepare them for the next week. Sometimes, young children need to make noise or move beyond the pews. When this happens, we encourage you to take children into the memorial walkway until they are ready to come back to worship.
Children under 5 are also welcome to play during the service in our staffed nursery. Nursery children usually return to their parents in the sanctuary for communion.
